Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial data to provide accurate tax advice.
• Work closely with clients to prepare necessary tax returns.
• Identify opportunities for tax credits and deductions.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all client interactions.
• Advise on state and local tax matters.
• Develop and implement tax strategies for new business ventures.
• Conduct thorough research on tax issues and present findings to clients.
• Engage in proactive communication with clients regarding tax planning.
• Assist clients in preparing documentation for tax audits.
• Collaborate with legal and financial teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Taxation
• Master's degree in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in tax advisory roles
