We are seeking a Civil Engineer based in Port Elizabeth who will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management and engineering principles to help us deliver impactful infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of engineering designs, ensuring best practices.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, maintaining accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Review and approve project changes with stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of grant applications and funding proposals.
• Foster relationships with clients and partners, ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's in Civil Engineering or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• GIS Software

• Negotiation
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in water resources management: Background in managing water resource projects will be an asset.
• Proficient in preparing detailed feasibility studies: Ability to conduct thorough feasibility studies for projects is a plus.
