We seek a talented Actuarial Analyst to provide support in our Durban office. Your role will involve extensive data analysis to identify trends and provide insights that will guide our decision-making processes. Responsibilities

• Perform complex calculations to forecast future liabilities and financial outcomes.
• Analyze market trends to improve pricing strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and compliance documentation.
• Engage with clients to offer advice on risk management.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
• AIA or similar professional qualification is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in actuarial analysis or related field

• Statistical Software (R or Python)
• Excel Modeling
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
