Job Description

We are seeking a passionate General Practitioner to join our esteemed team in Johannesburg. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Ideal candidates will have a strong clinical background and a commitment to improving patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare to diverse patient populations.
• Conduct follow-up examinations and reassessments.
• Manage chronic diseases with effective treatment strategies.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case reviews.
• Engage in mentoring junior staff and interns.
• Contribute to research and quality improvement activities.
• Develop outreach programs to increase healthcare access.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Fellowship in Family Medicine is preferable

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Treatment Planning

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Trauma Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
