Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will oversee medication dispensing, counsel patients on proper medication usage, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Your commitment to patient care will help improve community health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise pharmacy operations and staff.
• Perform medication therapy management to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Stay updated on new medications and therapies through continuous education.
• Assist in developing pharmacy policies and protocols.
• Engage with patients to improve health literacy and medication adherence.
• Provide information and referrals for health services.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues within the pharmacy system.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacy or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in community pharmacy

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
