Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Auditor to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating processes and operations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will play a key role in promoting best practices and mitigating compliance risks in our organization.

Responsibilities

• Review and revise compliance policies to align with regulatory standards.
• Perform risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in the compliance orientation of new employees.
• Prepare compliance status reports for management reviews.
• Conduct follow-up audits to verify implementation of corrective actions.
• Engage with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits.
• Manage compliance-related documentation and ensure accessibility.
• Support initiatives to foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
• Encourage open communication regarding compliance concerns and suggestions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in compliance auditing or risk management
