We are searching for an experienced Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide expert legal counsel, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while supporting our organization's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate internal legal audits.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting the business.
• Implement legal and compliance strategies.
• Collaborate with external counsel on complex matters.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies.
• Assist in the establishment of governance frameworks.
• Review internal policies to ensure legal compliance.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree with specialization in Corporate Law
• Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Law is an advantage

Experience

• 6+ years in corporate legal advisory roles

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in Merger and Acquisition Transactions: Experience providing legal counsel in M&A agreements.
