We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software applications, working closely with developers to identify and rectify issues before release. Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive test plans and strategies for projects.
• Conduct performance and stress testing to validate software scalability.
• Investigate and resolve issues raised by users during UAT.
• Work with developers to ensure that quality is built into the code.
• Provide training and mentoring for junior QA staff.
• Develop and manage test environments for different stages.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Facilitate retrospective meetings post-release to improve future QA practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline

Experience

• 4+ years in software quality assurance, with experience in both manual and automated testing preferred

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• JIRA

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with mobile application testing: Knowledge of testing methodologies specific to mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices: Experience working within a DevOps environment is advantageous.
