Job Description

The Accredited Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in dispensing medication to patients while performing essential administrative tasks such as data entry and record keeping. This is a vital role ensuring efficient pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support pharmacists in maintaining accurate medication records.
  • Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
  • Assist in the preparation and labeling of medications.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of pharmaceutical products.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and pharmacy staff.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide compassionate customer service to all patients.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Accredited Pharmacy Technician certification
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
