Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our Sandton team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. You'll work collaboratively with architects and other engineers to deliver innovative projects, while also leveraging advanced software tools.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive structural plans and details for various projects.
• Evaluate material specifications and construction methods.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
• Prepare technical presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Enhance design processes through innovation and technology.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with legal codes and safety standards.
• Provide technical advice on construction methods and engineering.
• Develop cost-effective structural solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in structural engineering or related field

• Finite Element Analysis
