Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join Veterinary Care Solutions. This role involves clinical assessments, surgical procedures, and client education to promote the health and wellbeing of pets and other animals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health checks and assist in diagnosing health issues.
• Manage and treat sick or injured animals.
• Perform surgeries and dental procedures as needed.
• Offer guidance on animal behavior and welfare.
• Foster relationships with clients to promote pet wellness.
• Engage in community outreach to raise awareness about pet care.
• Supervise and mentor junior veterinary staff.
• Assist in the management of inventory and supplies for the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Registration with the Veterinary Council of South Africa

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience

Certifications

• Veterinary Practitioner Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
