Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our caring team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical services to our patients, manage chronic and acute health issues, and contribute to community health initiatives. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as necessary.
• Provide treatment for injuries, infections, and other medical conditions.
• Educate patients about their health status and treatment options.
• Manage continuity of care through follow-up appointments.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
• Implement health promotion activities to enhance community wellbeing.

Requirements

Education

• Medical Degree (MBChB or equivalent)
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a general practice setting

• Physical Examination Techniques

Certifications

• Family Medicine Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both languages to cater to a diverse patient base.
• Experience with Pediatric Patients: Background in treating children and adolescent patients.
