Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Public Health Officer in Bloemfontein. You will be at the forefront of community health initiatives, working closely with healthcare providers and local authorities to promote health education and disease prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community health campaigns focusing on disease prevention and health promotion.
  • Analyze statistical data and prepare detailed reports on health outcomes.
  • Host health fairs and community events to engage the public in health education.
  • Coordinate with emergency services for public health response efforts.
  • Stay updated on public health trends and best practices in health promotion.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Public Policy, or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of direct public health experience
