Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities. You will ensure that our projects comply with all safety regulations and meet the client’s specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage civil engineering projects from start to finish.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Inspect and review work on construction sites to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in civil engineering

• AutoCAD

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in GIS software: Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems for spatial analysis and planning.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations: Understanding of local environmental laws and regulations relevant to civil engineering.
