Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Conduct performance analysis and improve existing engineering solutions.
• Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
• Participate in project planning and cost estimation.
• Document and implement quality control procedures.
• Collaborate on research and development initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Engage in continuous learning to keep abreast of industry trends.
• Present findings and design concepts to stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Lean Practitioner
• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Proficiency in additional CAD software is a plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Understanding of various manufacturing processes will be advantageous.
