Job Description

As a Crossing Guard and Flagger, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety at railway crossings. Your attention to detail and proactive communication skills will help prevent accidents and ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise traffic flow at railway crossings to ensure safety.
  • Effectively communicate with other team members to coordinate operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of operational areas for safety compliance.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and accidents.
  • Assist with the maintenance of signalling and communication systems.
  • Ensure proper signage and visibility at crossings.
  • Provide excellent customer service to pedestrians and drivers.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and reports.
  • Stay updated on railway safety protocols and changes.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
Experience
