Event Space Planner

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Event Space Planner to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and designing event spaces for various occasions, from corporate events to personal celebrations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging layouts for various types of events.
• Create and present design proposals to clients.
• Manage day-of-event logistics to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout all interactions.
• Utilize project management software for planning and scheduling.
• Innovate and suggest new ideas that enhance the overall event experience.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Specialized training in Interior Design is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
