Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of investment strategies and financial markets, helping our clients to build wealth and achieve their financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive financial plans addressing investments, savings, and insurance.
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding their portfolio and market changes.
• Monitor and report on investment performance and suggest adjustments.
• Conduct training sessions for junior staff on financial advising techniques.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Exercise discretion and ethical judgment when advising clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics
• CFP designation or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in financial advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Market Research
• Financial Planning Software

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Personal Financial Specialist (PFS)
• CFA designation is a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
