Job Description

As an Aerospace Engineer in our Cape Town office, you will be involved in groundbreaking aerospace projects, including aircraft design and performance optimization. Your role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop aerospace technologies including propulsion systems.
• Utilize simulation tools to predict aircraft behavior under various conditions.
• Document project progress and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support the product launch and production rollout phases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the aerospace sector

• CAD Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Safety Management System Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Aerospace Regulations: Knowledge of EASA and FAA regulations governing aircraft operations.
• Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Proficient in performing FEA for stress and vibration analysis of structures.
