Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will work on various projects to design, develop, and improve mechanical systems. You will play a pivotal role in the engineering process, focusing on innovative solutions and high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to develop project specifications.
• Analyze performance data and recommend design modifications.
• Lead project meetings to discuss progress and address challenges.
• Document design processes and outcomes for quality assurance.
• Research and implement new engineering technologies and methodologies.
• Support production efforts by providing engineering assistance.
• Prepare budgets and cost estimates for engineering projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or product development

Technical Skills

• Project Management
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• Afrikaans: Fluent
