Clinical Research Associate

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Clinical Research Associate to oversee and manage clinical trials in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in clinical research practices along with excellent organizational and communication skills. This role involves liaising with investigators, monitoring trial progress, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for site personnel on trial procedures and requirements.
• Identify and report adverse events and protocol deviations promptly.
• Build strong relationships with investigators and site staff.
• Assist in regulatory submissions and compliance inspections.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical trial processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or relevant discipline
• PhD or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in clinical trial management or coordination

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
