We are on the lookout for a passionate Research Scientist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and experience in medical research, working collaboratively to develop innovative solutions that improve patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform literature reviews to identify gaps in current medical knowledge.
• Design research methodologies that meet ethical and regulatory standards.
• Communicate research findings effectively through written and oral presentations.
• Develop and implement protocols to ensure quality control in experiments.
• Engage with external partners for collaborative research opportunities.
• Contribute to grant writing and fundraising efforts to support research initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Medical Science or a closely related discipline
• Relevant postdoctoral experience is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years in a medical research setting with a proven track record

• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
