Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Agricultural Engineer to join our team in Durban. This role focuses on developing innovative solutions to enhance agricultural productivity while prioritising environmental sustainability. Candidates should have a passion for agricultural technology and experience in implementing engineering solutions in farming systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new solutions for sustainable farming practices.
  • Assist in project management for agricultural technology initiatives.
  • Identify and solve engineering problems related to farming.
  • Build models to predict agricultural outcomes based on engineering solutions.
  • Support farmers in the adoption of new technologies and methods.
  • Participate in field trials to assess the performance of engineering solutions.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for engineering projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote agricultural innovations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in agricultural settings
