Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist with Health Services South Africa, you will not only provide individual and group therapy but also engage in community outreach programs to promote mental wellness. Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological assessments to create effective treatment plans.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques based on individual client needs.
  • Coordinate with psychiatric professionals to evaluate medication effectiveness.
  • Organize and lead group therapy sessions for various age groups.
  • Contribute to the development of mental health awareness campaigns.
  • Maintain a strong network with local hospitals and referral agencies.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed to clients in acute distress.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through conferences and training.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • PhD in Psychology preferred

  • 3+ years of clinical practice with diverse populations
