We are seeking a passionate Industrial Operations Engineer to improve our operational efficiency and to streamline processes in our Durban facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial engineering principles, and will be dedicated to sustainable practices that boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Study existing workflows and recommend appropriate enhancements.
• Lead operational audits and facilitate corrective actions.
• Work closely with management to develop long-term operational strategies.
• Train teams on best practices in operational procedures.
• Use statistical tools to identify process bottlenecks and variances.
• Ensure integration of environmental sustainability in all engineering processes.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Initiate and oversee automated solutions in operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operational Research, or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role with a focus on operational efficiency improvements
