Job Description

We are searching for a Procurement Specialist to join our Pretoria team. In this role, you'll manage procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure optimal sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of the procurement lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic sourcing initiatives focusing on cost savings and supplier quality.
  • Identify and establish supplier relationships that add value to the company.
  • Conduct supplier audits to evaluate compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to maximize savings.
  • Analyze procurement data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate pricing and payment processes.
  • Maintain detailed records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Provide training and support to staff on procurement processes and systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or Engineering
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in procurement roles with hands-on experience in strategic sourcing
