Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician in Durban to provide technical assistance and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, along with exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound support requests via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and repairs as needed.
  • Assist in the implementation of new IT projects.
  • Provide input for improving IT policies and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technology trends and updates.
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in developing user manuals and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Relevant IT certifications are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support roles
