Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Auxiliary Equipment Tender to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will operate and maintain various auxiliary equipment within a manufacturing environment. Attention to detail and a hands-on approach are essential, as you will ensure that all machinery runs efficiently and meets production targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate auxiliary equipment efficiently to ensure optimal production output.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Conduct regular inspections and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Help maintain inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Work with engineers to implement process improvements.
• Prepare reports on production efficiency and equipment status.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures.
• Support other departments as required to facilitate production.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in equipment operation or maintenance is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience operating auxiliary equipment: Prior hands-on experience in operating equipment similar to that used in our facility.
