Job Description

As a Pet Groomer with us, you will work with a variety of pets, ensuring they receive the highest quality grooming services. Responsibilities include washing, cutting, and styling fur, as well as providing advice to pet owners on care and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and ear cleaning.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of pets during their grooming appointments.
• Advise pet owners on grooming products and services.
• Keep the grooming area clean and free of hazards.
• Assist in managing inventory of grooming supplies.
• Participate in training programs to enhance grooming skills.
• Develop strong relationships with repeat clients and their pets.
• Stay up-to-date with grooming trends and best practices.
• Handle any customer complaints professionally and effectively.
• Report any injuries or issues with pets during grooming to management.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a grooming school is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of professional grooming experience

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Operation
• Animal Behavior Understanding

• Interpersonal Skills
• Empathy

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in dog training: Background in training dogs can be a significant advantage.
• Hydrotherapy skills: Knowledge in hydrotherapy for pet rehabilitation.
