Job Description

As a Childcare Worker in Durban, you will be responsible for ensuring a secure and engaging environment for children aged 0-5. You'll plan and execute activities that promote educational growth while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of children through organized play.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
• Document children's activities and improvements.
• Foster a positive relationship with parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with team members to adapt childcare programs.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Early Childhood Education
• NQF Level 4 in Childcare or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years experience in childcare settings

Technical Skills

• Play-Based Learning Techniques
• Child Safety Protocols

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA)
• Advanced First Aid Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
