Telecommunications Engineer

Job Description

We're looking for a Telecommunications Engineer to develop and manage our telecommunications infrastructure in Durban. This role involves designing effective communication systems while working closely with clients to meet their connectivity needs. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background and be committed to ongoing innovation in the telecommunications sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects for the deployment of new telecommunication services.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to telecommunication hardware and services.
• Participate in R&D initiatives to develop innovative communication solutions.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of telecom equipment.
• Create analytical reports on network performance and efficiency.
• Provide recommendations for technology upgrades and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is acceptable
• Additional certifications in telecommunications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in the telecommunications field
