We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, from residential to large-scale commercial developments, ensuring that structures are safe, stable, and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design projects from inception to completion.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training on technical skills.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Maintain thorough documentation of design processes and alterations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• STAAD.Pro
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Leadership

Certifications

• Civil Engineering Technician (CET)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with seismic design principles: Understanding of seismic analysis and design considerations.
• Familiarity with renewable energy solutions: Knowledge of integrating renewable technologies in structural projects.
