As a Social and Human Service Assistant, you will play an integral role in the daily lives of residents, providing essential support with daily living activities, medication management, and emotional companionship. Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily routines, promoting independence wherever possible.
• Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Manage medication schedules effectively and accurately.
• Engage residents in activities that promote socialization and mental health.
• Regularly check and maintain the cleanliness of shared spaces.
• Document changes and progress in residents' care effectively.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Assist in training and mentoring new care assistants.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss resident care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Personal Care Aide or similar is advantageous

Experience

• 1+ years experience in social and human services

• Patient Care

Certifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
