Job Description

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Social Worker eager to make a meaningful impact in Bloemfontein. Your responsibilities will include conducting needs assessments, developing tailored support plans, and collaborating with local organizations to enhance community resources.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate client situations and needs.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to clients dealing with various challenges.
• Assist clients in navigating complex social service systems.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local stakeholders and service providers.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Keep abreast of current issues in social work and adapt practices accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in community service delivery

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic
