Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Social Worker who will engage with the community to identify needs, advocate for clients, and facilitate access to resources. Your work will have a profound impact on the lives of many, ensuring support is provided to those who need it most.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client needs and develop intervention strategies.
  • Provide direct counselling services to clients facing various challenges.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Participate in case conferences with professionals from related fields.
  • Educate clients and their families on available community resources.
  • Engage in policy work to effect social change.
  • Conduct training for volunteers and interns.
  • Represent the organization at community events and forums.
  • Promote social justice and advocate for vulnerable populations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Master's degree in Social Work is highly desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community engagement and social services
