Job Description

As an Artillery and Missile Crew Member, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) to ensure the safety and effectiveness of ground troop operations. This role demands technical expertise, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced radar systems to detect incoming threats.
• Coordinate with team members to neutralize or intercept missile threats.
• Maintain records of all operational activities and maintenance checks.
• Participate in regular training exercises to enhance operational readiness.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when handling munitions.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining MLRS or similar equipment.

Technical Skills

• Strong technical expertise in MLRS operations
• Radar operations

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Team leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in air defense and anti-missile systems: Previous experience with air defense systems will be an advantage.
• Additional training in military tactics: Any additional military training in combat strategies is preferred.
