Job Description

We are looking for an Auditor to play a key role in our Johannesburg office. You will conduct financial audits and help clients maintain compliance. With a focus on detail and communication, this role is ideal for individuals looking to advance their auditing careers.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and manage relationships with clients.
• Assess risks and weaknesses in financial practices.
• Draft comprehensive audit reports with recommendations.
• Coordinate with external auditors when necessary.
• Monitor and evaluate compliance with internal policies.
• Train and mentor junior staff in audit practices.
• Deliver outstanding client service while meeting deadlines.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting or related field
• Honours degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Audit Software Proficiency
• Taxation Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IPPF)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with risk management practices: Experience in identifying and managing risks in audit processes.
• Certification in Fraud Examination (CFE): Certification demonstrating expertise in fraud detection and prevention.
