Our Cape Town office is seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join our talented team. In this role, you'll be tasked with designing and implementing mining projects while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities

• Engage in innovative mining engineering practices and techniques.
• Create detailed reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Support the design of mine layouts and infrastructure.
• Drive initiatives to promote workplace safety and health.
• Provide technical support in the procurement of mining equipment.
• Participate in site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with finance departments on project budgets.
• Lead project meetings and ensure cross-departmental alignment.
• Analyze production data for efficiency and improvement.
• Engage and support community relations efforts.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Mining Engineering or related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mining operations and engineering

• Registered Mine Surveyor Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
