Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, providing patient counselling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy support staff.
• Engage in patient advocacy and support medication compliance.
• Document medication therapy management activities thoroughly.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements

Education

• BPharm degree from an accredited institution
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in a community pharmacy setting
