Job Description

The PCB Drill Press Operator is responsible for operating a drill press machine that drills holes in printed circuit boards, adhering to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate drill press according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications related to drilling.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to assess output.
• Keep work area organized and maintain cleanliness of machines.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety.
• Monitor production flow and make adjustments as necessary.
• Assist with inventory management and stock of drilling supplies.
• Conduct periodic maintenance checks on drilling equipment.
• Work with engineering teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in health and safety training sessions.
