Job Description

As an HR Generalist in Johannesburg, you will play a crucial role in managing HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate should be proactive, with a strong understanding of labor laws and employee engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment lifecycle including interviewing and hiring.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs.
  • Manage employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
  • Conduct compliance audits and employee training.
  • Develop and update HR policies in line with legal requirements.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Assist employees with inquiries regarding policies and benefits.
  • Prepare reports for management on HR metrics.
  • Implement strategies for improving employee retention.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Postgraduate HR qualification is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related role
