Responsibilities

• Develop detailed blueprints and models using CAD software.
• Engage in creative brainstorming sessions with the design team.
• Evaluate the environmental impact of projects and suggest improvements.
• Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction.
• Review and approve contractor work regarding compliance with designs.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Research materials and technologies to optimize designs.
• Mentor junior architects and interns.
• Foster a collaborative work environment.
• Upkeep an organized project archive.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• Registered Architect in South Africa
• LEED Accreditation is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with 3D modeling software: Proficient in creating 3D models to visualize projects.
