Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Supervisor to oversee our fleet operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient management of fleet logistics, optimize vehicle performance, and maintain compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the fleet.
• Track and assess vehicle usage and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with the logistics team for effective transportation.
• Resolve issues related to fleet operations swiftly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct safety audits and enforce safety protocols.
• Ensure the fleet is adequately insured and compliant.
• Develop procedures for vehicle acquisition and disposal.
• Collaborate closely with management on strategic initiatives.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Transportation or Logistics Management
• Higher Diploma preferred

Experience

• 5 years of fleet supervision or transportation experience

Technical Skills

• Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge
• Transport Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Team Building

Certifications

• Certified Logistics Professional (CLP)
• Six Sigma Certification is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
