General Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will deliver high-quality medical care, manage patient health, and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to ensure patient satisfaction. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, as well as promoting preventative care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments for patients of all ages.
• Manage a varied case load of patients and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
• Work in accordance with the facility's clinical policies and procedures.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
• Support the onboarding and mentoring of junior medical staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external healthcare providers.
• Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent qualification
• Specialisation in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a General Practitioner

Advantageous

• Advanced Trauma Life Support certification: Having ATLS certification will be regarded favorably.
