Architect

Job Description

As an Architect at Creative Structures, you'll be at the forefront of innovative design. You'll work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate that into stunning architectural plans. This role demands creativity, technical skills, and a passion for sustainable design to produce buildings that are not only beautiful but also efficient and eco-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Create designs that meet client wishes while being mindful of budget limitations.
• Utilize advanced architecture design software to produce high-quality plans.
• Assist in obtaining building permits and other necessary approvals.
• Collaborate closely with landscape architects and urban planners.
• Conduct materials and systems research to resolve design challenges.
• Adapt architectural solutions based on project feedback from clients and regulators.
• Prepare functional and design specifications for the construction phase.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate before submission.
• Train and guide junior team members in architectural practices.
• Advocate for innovative and environmentally responsible design practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Certification in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in architecture and design

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• LEED Certification: Certification through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
