Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems in collaboration with architects.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction activities.

• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Utilize industry-standard software for structural analysis.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in structural engineering design and analysis

Technical Skills

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification
• Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
