Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will be tasked with developing structural designs and analyzing project specifications to ensure cost-effective and practical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding projects from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with contractors to ensure the accuracy of construction methods and sequencing.
• Assess existing structures for rehabilitation or upgrade projects.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high construction standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Post-graduate qualification in Structural Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering design

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software
• Detailing and Drafting

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• International certification in Structural Engineering
• LEED Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with advanced software tools for structural analysis: Hands-on experience with tools such as SAP2000 and STAAD.Pro.
• Strong background in seismic design principles: Knowledge and experience with structures in seismic-sensitive areas.
