Job Description

We are looking for a competent General Practitioner to join our healthcare team at Healthcare Professionals Group in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, conducting physical examinations, and developing treatment plans. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and needs.
• Evaluate diagnostic results and plan further investigations.
• Provide ongoing patient management to ensure continuity of care.
• Implement patient-centered care principles.
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Promote health education and disease prevention.
• Involve in research and quality improvement activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or higher qualification
• Specialisation in General Medicine is preferred

Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in a clinical environment

Technical Skills

• Patient care
• Emergency response

Soft Skills

• Patient advocacy
• Teamwork

Certifications

• BLS Certification
• HPCSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with minor surgery: Experience in performing minor surgical procedures.
