Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal health and welfare, providing high-quality medical care to our patients. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a friendly environment, helping to ensure the best possible outcomes for our furry patients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct examinations and diagnose conditions in pets.
  • Implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
  • Perform vaccinations and minor surgical procedures.
  • Develop strong relationships with pet owners to support ongoing care.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse veterinary team.
  • Keep abreast of developments in veterinary medicine.
  • Advocate for pet welfare in the community.
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.
  • Maintain clinic inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
  • Provide emergency care and support during out-of-hours services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Additional certifications in animal care are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical veterinary practice
