Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care to animals including examination, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Perform routine check-ups and diagnostic tests.
  • Administer vaccinations and medications as required.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's health.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as necessary, ensuring patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Advise pet owners on pet care and preventative health measures.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high standards of care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Engage with the local community to promote animal welfare initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Additional certifications in animal care are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical veterinary practice
