Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and reporting on financials.
  • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to drive collaboration.
  • Address and resolve conflicts and challenges proactively.
  • Conduct project closeout activities, ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Mentor junior staff members, promoting professional development.
  • Utilize project management software for tracking and reporting.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • A postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the construction industry
